What is an sewing machine?
An sewing machine is a machine that uses a needle to sew fabric or material together with thread. The Makerspace provides access to basic and heavy duty sewing machines.
How can I use it?
Contact us for an hour long 1-on-1 appointment OR if you are already experienced at using a sewing machine, Contact Us to simply reserve the equipment.
What materials can I use?
The Makerspace provides black and white polyester thread along with a basic sewing tool kit. If you prefer another thread color, you are welcome to provide your own thread. Project material must be approved by Makerspace Staff.
